An In-Person Workshop Bangalore

The loud silence.

What gets heard when nothing is said. The things we don't say are rarely actually unsaid, they get communicated anyway. A day of looking at the four responses running underneath every relationship.

If you've ever walked away from a conversation wondering what just happened this is for you.

"The body finds a way. The other person hears it."
About the workshop

What gets heard when nothing is said.

The things we don't say are rarely actually unsaid. They get communicated anyway, through a tightened jaw, a sudden withdrawal, an over-eager yes. The body finds a way. The other person hears it. And yet, nothing was spoken.

This is the territory of The Loud Silence. Underneath every relationship, four scientific responses are quietly running, fight, flight, freeze, and fawn. They show up as sharpness, as distance, as numbness, as agreement we don't mean. Each one a kind of silence. Each one heard.

A day of looking, not to fix, but to understand.

Four responses, running underneath

Each one a Silence.
Each one heard.

01

Fight.

Shows up as sharpness, irritation, the need to be right. A defended posture, before anyone knew there was anything to defend.

02

Flight.

Shows up as distance, distraction, the sudden urge to leave. A small, polite vanishing, even while still in the room.

03

Freeze.

Shows up as numbness, blankness, going somewhere else while still in the room. The body present, the self elsewhere.

04

Fawn.

Shows up as agreement we don't mean, smiles we don't feel, peace we don't actually have. A yes that costs something.

An invitation

Recognise. Not fix.

Not to eliminate these responses, but to see when they show up, who they're protecting, and what becomes possible when the unsaid becomes seeable.

01

See when they show up

Notice the moment fight, flight, freeze, or fawn arrives, in your body, in your voice, in the conversation you're already inside.

02

See who they're protecting

These responses were never chosen. They were learned, often before you had words. Trace them back to what they were guarding.

03

See what becomes possible

When the unsaid becomes seeable, something else can happen. Not a fix, a choice. A different next move in an old conversation.

Frequently asked

Questions, answered.

No. The Loud Silence is a facilitated, structured workshop. It is not a substitute for therapy or clinical care, but it complements them well, many participants find it sharpens the work they're doing elsewhere.

None. The workshop is designed for first-time participants and seasoned reflectors alike. We meet the four responses as lived experiences, not as concepts to study.

Yourself, a pen, a notebook, and a willingness to be honest with yourself for a day. Materials will be provided.

You'll receive a confirmation email with venue details, what-to-bring notes, and a short pre-work prompt, just before the event starts, to settle into the work.

Seats are non-cancellable and non-refundable.

When the unsaid becomes seeable.

A day together — listening to what's already being said by you, by the people you're closest to, by the patterns that keep repeating without anyone naming them.
